After more than one year of not touching any color using charcoal and chalk only to improve my basic drawing skills, I finally got carried away. While working on this still life using my usual charcoal and chalk, I felt the urge to show the redness of the fabric that is draped around the skull. I ransacked through my drawing supplies, found a bunch of pastel pencils and off I went ...
