I worked on this for a few weeks in David's class. Finally its done, I think it came out quite nicely.

Seashell with a few other items

Another small still life done a few days ago. I planned to just do a quick sketch but got carried away ...

Starfish, Butterfly and other stuff ...

With this one I just arranged a few random objects that I like and tacked them to a piece of plywood.

Playa Gear

Just finished this still life with a bunch of Playa goodies.

Cast Drawing

This is the latest thing I have been working on at the Atelier. I drew it from a little plaster cast from a vantage point that is approx. 8 feet away. It taught me a lot about the subtleties of value and form that one can observe.

The clown and his bottle

I started this one last weekend and just finished blocking on the main elements. Next step is going to bring out the strong lights and darks before moving on to the small accents that are going to make the difference. I found the clown at the White Elephant sale in Oakland a few weeks ago.

Encounter

This is my latest drawing in progress. There are still some accents that need to be put in. I'll post the final version once I am done.
